In an email campaign, how can I know when a link is being clicked

When you configure a campaign, please follow the following steps:

  • (if you have not already done so,) create a campaign, create at least one email schedule
  • click on the [Configure] link for that schedule
  • in the popup screen, please click both the "Track URL Click Back" checkbox, and the "When the URL is clicked, send me an email at the following addres" checkbox, and also put in your desired notification email address.
  • Submit, and that's it!

And if you put in your phone SMS's email address, you can be notified in real time when one of your campaign recipient opens your email and click on one of the links you send them!

When you do a blast, where do you put this in??? It is already processing when you complete the last step.

Hi Dimitrios,

Good question. We've missed that.

The design goal for the blast wizard, is simplicity, i.e at the end of the flow you can just sent the campaign to processing and forget about it. So we do not want to add another configuration step at the end of the wizard flow.

As URL clickback tracking, and notification is tied to the campaign anyway, we've moved the "clickback tracking" and "clickback notification" to the "campaign edit" section.
