We've recently updated our email server, to better fight spam, However, if you are using our email server, mail.ebsuite.com, as your outbound mail server, you may have experienced slower page response time whenever you are sending out an email.
This includes
- Send email page
- Case update page (if the update triggers an email notification)
- Case close page (see above)
- Appointment Creation (if it triggers an appointment invite)
...
The reason
- Our new email server is adding a delay to prevent bulk email sent
The fix
- In Account->Setup->Organization Profile->Outbound Email Setting, there is a checkbox "Send Emails in background threads to improve response time"
