Within the Sales Module users will have the ability to track Opportunities. Opportunities are typically the core happenings around your business model. For example, if your company sells Real Estate the Opportunity is the Real Estate transaction. If your company sells Software, the Opportunity is the Software Presales activity, the Software Demo, the Software configuration, and the Software licensing to the customer.
Opportunities may or may not have a financial aspect or sales dollar value, but if they do Forecasts or anticipated dollar revenue can be set up.
