A Relationship is a connection between Customers and Contacts.
In our data model, Customers and Contacts are all independent business entities. For example, a Contact (person) doesn't have to belong to a Customer (company). Relationships are what connect these entities. A person can be an employee of a company, and/or a friend of another person. A company can be a competitor to another company, and/or an employer of a person.
In ebsuite.com, you can configure 3 types of relationship: Person to Company, Person to Person, and Company to Company. For each relationship you can specify a reverse relationship. You can keep notes on relationships.
